Video: Biden’s 2024 Re-election Announcement Is Empty and Divisive

In a well-produced yet vacuous video posted to social media today, President Joe Biden announced his intention to run for re-election in 2024.

The three-minute spot is complete with rifts on “MAGA extremists” since Biden is the ultimate Divider in Chief, and also filled with, well, nothing relating to Biden’s record during his first term.

That’s understandable since no president wants to be in a position of touting the highest inflation rates in four decades and a growing dependence on foreign sources of energy.

As nauseating as it is, here’s Biden’s re-election kickoff video, complete with more demagoguery than you thought could be crammed into a 3-minute ad:

Let’s see here.

Biden’s record on foreign policy? Unmentioned as a war rages in Ukraine and the world becomes less stable by the day. Also missing are references to Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal that has now let the country once again become a terrorist launching ground.

Any talk of the economy? Also notably missing. As we highlighted last week, Biden is sitting near his all-time approval rating low right now thanks largely to his mishandling of the economy. Every day more companies are tightening their bottom lines and many fear a worse economy heading later into this year which is a difficult record to explain.

What about immigration or crime? What’s there to say? The southern border is merely a suggestion at this point while the Biden administration works to encourage as much illegal immigration as possible. The human crisis of smuggling and the countless abused children mean nothing to a man who claims to want to treat people with fairness and give everyone a shot. Does that include the drug smugglers hauling fentanyl across the board killing hundreds of thousands of Americans each year?

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson makes an appearance, Biden’s only Supreme Court nominee. During her confirmation hearing, Brown was famously unable to define what a “woman” is since that is “above her pay grade” and “she’s not a biologist.”

The entire video is a replay of Biden’s same shtick from the past few years. Everything is the fault of “MAGA Republicans” and Biden should be blamed for nothing.

It’s a divide-and-conquer strategy of whipping up fear over “book bans” and other false narratives.

Someone should ask the president when he thinks it’s OK for a state to decide what age elementary students should endure talks on sexuality. Maybe leave that to the states to determine on a local level? No, the Dividier in Chief is going to bludgeon everyone involved as “extremists” for trying to fight back against the evil in public schools.

Regarding voting rights, this is the same president that says voter ID requirements are akin to “making it harder to vote,” but Covid-19 vaccination cards were required to even keep your job in the Fall of 2021. It’s a sham talking point that is merely about control and enabling voter fraud at every level. There is no justifiable reason for not requiring photo identification to cast a vote as a bare minimum for entry into the democratic system. Striking the balance does not equate to denying someone the right to vote.

It’s the “do-nothing” and “say-nothing” re-election video fit for a president with a 39% approval rating and a perpetual habit of demonizing half the country that disagrees with his brand of progressive left-wing policies wrapped up in a folksy charm.

So, yes, America, here is Joe Biden, ready to run on a record of bad economic policies, expensive energy, corporate layoffs, record inflation, and a growing feeling that America is on the wrong track.
