Reports indicate that the Biden administration, and perhaps other officials at top government agencies, are working to quietly silence and shut down investigations into Biden family corruption such as the Hunter Biden tax evasion case.
If you jump back a few years to the Trump presidency during the days of the Robert Mueller Special Counsel Russia collusion probe, Democrats were singing a different tune. When Trump would imply he might fire Mueller before the investigation was complete, the suggestion was always met with threats of impeachment, sometimes from Trump’s own party.
Today, with multiple investigations pending and whistleblowers coming forward to expose various wrongdoings in government under Joe Biden, much of the investigating is being quietly derailed, dismantled, or silenced altogether.
Reporting at JustTheNews, investigative journalist John Solomon has chronicled the dismissal and demotion of two key whistleblowers alleging wrongdoing on the part of Biden’s IRS and FBI:
Just 24 hours apart, the plights of a decorated FBI intelligence analyst and a decorated supervisory IRS agent burst onto the national scene with detailed accounts alleging they have endured retaliation and reprisal for blowing the whistle.
The publicly unnamed IRS agent – once a star on the Swiss bank tax evasion cases that stunned the world – was unceremoniously dumped along with his entire team from the Hunter Biden tax probe just a few weeks after alleging there was Justice Department political interference in the high-profile matter, his lawyers reported to Congress.
FBI intelligence analyst Marcus Allen – a combat-tested Marine who just a few years ago was named the Charlotte, N.C. field office employee of the year – has had his security clearance and paychecks revoked after reporting he had found open-source intelligence calling into question the accuracy of Director Chris Wray’s testimony about the Jan. 6 probe, according to his complaint filed with the DOJ inspector general.
Ironically, whistleblowers became a celebrated and protected class when they were allegedly exposing the wrongdoing of the Trump administration. Things are quite a bit different today with the media running full block for the Biden White House.
So far, there seems to be no logical explanation for shutting down the team investigating the Hunter Biden tax evasion allegations or the intimidation happening against Marcus Allen, a U.S. Marine wishing to testify against FBI Director Christopher Wray regarding the events of January 6, 2021. In both cases, the losing end of the whistleblower allegations would be high-level government officials including quite possibly the President himself.
Congressional Republicans know they’re being stonewalled in their efforts to hold the Biden administration accountable:
Both cases have lawmakers scratching their heads, concerned that if the whistleblowers allegations are corroborated that Congress has been deprived of opportunities to fix problems impacting American taxpayers.
“It’s unacceptable,” Rep. Austin Scott, R-Ga., a key member of the House Intelligence committee, told the “John Solomon Reports” podcast on Tuesday. “We need people inside the agencies to tell us, in many cases, the secrets of those agencies, if we’re going to pass legislation that is going to correct some of the wrongs of the past.
“It’s hard to govern when you don’t know the truth because people inside the agencies aren’t telling you the truth. I’m on the side of the whistleblowers. I mean, they’re doing their patriotic duty to make sure that we have what we need to govern.”
If we had a curious media in this country, the White House press briefing would be filled with question after question about why these whistleblowers, who are guaranteed protection under the law, are being retaliated against and demoted.
There should be no escaping this issue as it appears to be top-level Biden administration officials quietly working on behalf of the President to shut down further inquiries into his family’s corruption.
What this episode demonstrates is a willful disregard for the law and an administration corrupt to the point of making these moves overtly without fear of reprisal. Joe Biden must implicitly know that he will never face consequences for the allegation that his family has illegally received millions of dollars from foreign governments in a pay-for-play scandal.
Aside from the President, top officials like FBI Director Christopher Wray also seem to be untouchable in terms of accountability by Congress or the American people.
It all dovetails with the recently released Durham report which found that the FBI, in tandem with the Obama administration and the Clinton campaign, worked together to try and alter the outcome of a free and open election.
There are two tiers of justice in the country and it’s not about race or class, it’s about the ruling elite protecting and advancing their agenda from within the government, and everyone else who sits on the outside. Those within the power structure escape punishment while those being targeted are harrassed to the point of bankruptcy.
Joe Biden is not the folksy charmer from Scranton that he campaigned as for decades.
Biden, quite the opposite, is actually a top player within the power elite that remains untouchable despite mounting evidence of corruption.
