Here’s the full sequence captured by C-SPAN. The former president is speaking and appears to grab his right ear. Then he falls to the ground or ducks intentionally, it’s not clear. Agents then rush in and escort him off stage and to a waiting car.

Some media outlets are starting to report the story:

People in the crowd could be heard screaming as Secret Service Agents crowded Trump and rushed him off the stage.

Trump was seen pumping his fist as he was rushed to a car by Secret Service. Soldiers in military gear were seen rushing into the rally.

More from Sky News:

Trump appeared to fall to the ground as he was giving a speech. He was quickly surrounded by armed security and stayed down for around a minute.

He then rose to his feet and put his fist in the air, before being escorted off stage and into a vehicle, and then driven away from the scene.

Video appeared to show blood on his ear as he was taken away.

More from Fox San Diego:

Trump was showing off a chart of border crossing numbers when bangs started ringing through the crowd. Trump could be seen reaching with his right hand toward his neck. There appeared to be blood on his face.

He quickly ducked behind the riser as agents from his protective detail rushed the stage and screams rang out from the crowd. The bangs continued as agents tended to him on stage.

His motorcade has left the venue. His condition was not immediately known.

According to a Trump spokesman, the former president is stable and doing just fine:

Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung tells me in a statement that the former president is being assessed at a local medial facility.

“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow.”

UPDATE

Some reports indicate Trump was grazed by glass shards from a teleprompter being shot:

Law enforcement officials have claimed to two different sources that former President Donald Trump was not grazed by a bullet but rather by glass shards.

The officials in question told both Newsmax’s Alex Salvi and Axios’ Juliegrace Brufke that Trump was hit by glass shards that may have erupted from the shattering of a teleprompter that was hit by gunfire.

Earlier on Saturday, law enforcement sources confirmed that the person suspected of firing a weapon at a Pennsylvania Trump rally had been killed, as had at least one person in the crowd.

The gunshots are being investigated as an assassination attempt.

The shooter is reportedly dead. Another rally attendee was also killed.

A man interviewed by the BBC claims he and others saw the shooter on a building roof near them, alerted authorities, and seconds later shots rang out:
