The Commonwealth of Virginia has three statewide races today, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General. In addition, the Virginia House of Delegates is also up for grabs with every seat up for election alongside the statewide races.
Polls are open from 6 am ET until 7 pm ET across the state.

A significant number of early voting has taken place this year, far more than in previous years, due to expanded early voting hours and availability. Over 1.1 million early ballots were cast, a number that consists of mostly in-person early voting with the rest as mail-in.

Virginia Election Results
Results should start to become available after 7 pm ET and trickle more regularly by 8 pm ET.

New Jersey Election Results
The state of New Jersey is the other big off-year race being watched closely. The race has tightened, though nowhere close to the Virginia race, with Democratic incumbent Phil Murphy and Republican Jack Ciattarelli less than 10 points apart in this deep-blue state.
