Former President Donald Trump will take the stage on Saturday night for a headlining speech that will serve as one of the cornerstone events for this year’s CPAC. For the past several years, Trump has been a staple at the annual conference for conservative political activists, often bringing the largest crowds and creating some of the biggest headlines among all the noteworthy CPAC speakers.
With the state of affairs currently playing out domestically and internationally, Trump’s speech on Saturday will likely not disappoint.

The big Saturday draw is the former president, of course, and there’s certainly plenty to talk about. Trump has been taking criticism all week for allegedly “praising” Vladimir Putin by pointing out how badly the Biden administration and our NATO allies are being played by Russia. There’s a difference between praising Putin and acknowledging the fact that Biden has fumbled the world into yet another foreign policy crisis.
If the intelligence existed weeks ago indicating that Russia was on the verge of invading Ukraine, why did Biden wait until after the bloodshed started to unleash sanctions and try to prevent catastrophe? This will, undoubtedly, be a big topic for Trump at CPAC.
The other areas that are ripe for the taking include Biden’s record inflation, the ongoing crisis at the U.S. southern border, and the general ineptness of this administration do anything in terms of getting the country moving in the right direction.
We can expect some fireworks on Saturday night as Trump stands before a friendly and adoring crowd in Orlando.
Stay tuned for live updates.
