Full Video: The Final Hassan-Bolduc New Hampshire Senate Debate (Nov. 2)

The New Hampshire Senate race between incumbent Democrat Maggie Hassan and Republican Don Bolduc has barely been on the radar this cycle. It has been assumed for months now that Hassan would end up winning re-election and Bolduc would be nothing more than a Trump-endorsed footnote.

Well, the narrative might be changing in the Granite State. The most recent poll of the race, which has been tightening for weeks now, gives Bolduc a 1-point lead over Hassan. If Republicans take this seat it would become far more difficult for Democrats to retain a path to a Senate majority.

The two candidates met Wednesday for their final debate just days ahead of Election Day next week in a contest that could prove pivotal for both parties in their quest for Senate control. The previous Bolduc-Hassan Senate debate is available on YouTube if you missed it.

As for the latest polling in the race, Bolduc has steadily built a base of support and seems to be well-positioned for a possible upset next week:

The race for the U.S. Senate in New Hampshire is neck and neck and a new St. Anselm College poll now puts Republican challenger and political newcomer, retired brigadier general Don Bolduc ahead of incumbent Sen. Maggie Hassan, 48 to 47 percent.

The St. Anselm College poll could be an outlier, but it does have a large sample size of over 1,500 responses, a sizable pool for a state as small as New Hampshire. The race has been trending in Bolduc’s direction as Hassan started with a double-digit lead during the summer but has watched her support slowly whittle away. Previous polls had pegged Hassan’s lead down to just three points back in mid-October.

Former President Donald Trump recently waded into the race offering his full endorsement of Bolduc:

Former President Trump formally endorsed New Hampshire Senate hopeful Don Bolduc (R) on Monday while also dinging him for flip-flopping on his views on the 2020 election.

“General Don Bolduc has run a great campaign to be the U.S. Senator from the beautiful State of New Hampshire. He was a strong and proud ‘Election Denier,’ a big reason that he won the Nomination, but he then disavowed,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

“He has since come back, at least on busing, but that is only a small part of N.H. Election Fraud. Nevertheless, Don Bolduc has asked for my Endorsement, and he’s got it, Complete & Total. His opponent is a disaster on Crime, the Border, Inflation, & all else. Vote for Don Bolduc!” he added.

The debate starts tonight at 8 pm ET live on WMUR in New Hampshire. We will provide the live stream links and will have the full video after the debate airs. Election Day is on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
