The title barely gives the explosive details of this story any justice.
In summary, President Joe Biden’s mental decline was evident from day one of his presidency and it’s at least as bad or worse than we all feared while observing from the outside. There should be no question that everyone, from Vice President Harris on down, who knowingly lied and covered up Biden’s inability to handle the job, should never hold the public trust in any elected position of consequence.
The details of this new and explosive Wall Street Journal report are alarming for many reasons but not the least of which is that Joe Biden still has a month in office. Seriously, who’s running the show in the Oval Office? We know it’s not Joe Biden.
Just how bad has it been for Biden’s handlers in deflecting concern and criticism? Pretty bad:
Presidents always have gatekeepers. But in Biden’s case, the walls around him were higher and the controls greater, according to Democratic lawmakers, donors and aides who worked for Biden and other administrations. There were limits over who Biden spoke with, limits on what they said to him and limits around the sources of information he consumed.
Throughout his presidency, a small group of aides stuck close to Biden to assist him, especially when traveling or speaking to the public. “They body him to such a high degree,” a person who witnessed it said, adding that the “hand holding” is unlike anything other recent presidents have had.
Ideally, the meetings would start later in the day, since Biden has never been at his best first thing in the morning, some of the people said. His staff made these adjustments to limit potential missteps by Biden, the people said. The president, known for long and rambling sessions, at times pushed in the opposite direction, wanting or just taking more time.
The White House denied that his schedule has been altered due to his age.
If the president was having an off day, meetings could be scrapped altogether. On one such occasion, in the spring of 2021, a national security official explained to another aide why a meeting needed to be rescheduled. “He has good days and bad days, and today was a bad day so we’re going to address this tomorrow,” the former aide recalled the official saying.
It was at best an open secret and at worst one of the most damning cover-ups in American political history. Joe Biden was not a well man when he started his campaign in 2020, and everyone around him knew it. He was an open vessel upon which anything could be harnessed at the whims of the people around him.
The WSJ article is filled with details from Senators and advisors who noted their inability to deal directly with the President and often found that odd. Some noted that during the Obama administration, they spoke with the President numerous times. During Biden’s presidency, it was almost always aides or other top staff that would deal with incoming requests to the White House.
There was no access to Joe Biden because he was having one of those “bad days” where he couldn’t be trusted to perform. How many “bad days” did Joe really have? It seems like the “good days” were pretty few and far between.
Left-wing spineless journalists who helped with the cover-up are now crawling out of the woodwork to pretend they’re shocked and surprised by the revelations. Here’s Chris Cillizza pretending that if only he had known, he would’ve pressed harder on the issue of Biden’s mental state:
Chris Cillizza apologizes for his coverage of Biden while at CNN: "As a reporter, I have a confession to make: I should have pushed harder earlier for more information about Joe Biden's mental and physical well-being and any signs of decline."@DailyCaller pic.twitter.com/9GWSmUhgEA

Thanks for nothing! Really, what good does it do to apologize when the ship has sailed? Cillizza, like most of his colleagues, didn’t want to know the truth they saw with their own eyes. They didn’t want to fuel concern among the public or, worse in their view, help Donald Trump’s re-election effort.
